WNMU’s Policy Office is entrusted with the oversight of the University’s policy framework. Our core responsibilities include:

• Policy Review and Revision: Leading the University in continual review and improvement of comprehensive policies that align with the mission and strategic objectives.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensuring that all policies adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and best practices, thus maintaining the highest standards of integrity and accountability.
• Efficiency Enhancement: Streamlining policy processes to enhance operational efficiency and optimize resource utilization across the University.
• Central Repository Maintenance: Acting as the official custodian of all historical and current policies, guaranteeing transparent and easy access for all stakeholders.

Through diligent oversight, the Policy Office fosters a robust and transparent policy environment that supports the University’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

As part of WNMU’s commitment to shared governance, employees (Faculty, Staff, & Students, where applicable) will have the opportunity to review and provide input on new policies and proposed changes to existing policies. This collaborative process ensures that diverse perspectives are considered, fostering a more inclusive and effective governance framework.

The policy review window will remain open for 30 days once it’s posted.  Employees will have the opportunity to review and provide any feedback/comments/questions by clicking on the Policy Feedback Form.  All comments will be reviewed by the Policy Owner for consideration.
