PURPOSE:
As authorized by the Board of Regents, the Academic Affairs Class Size Policy is intended to ensure that the university conducts classes of a numerical size and nature to meet the needs of the student body.

POLICY:
Consistent with this purpose, minimum class sizes will be determined by the Vice President of Academic Affairs based upon the institution’s mission, vision, strategic plan, enrollment, and budgetary resources subject to approval by the President and the Board of Regents.
This policy applies to in-person learning, hybrid, and online classes. The determination of class sizes will take into consideration the unique needs and logistical requirements of each modality to ensure a high-quality educational experience for all students.
